God’s valley

Certainly the most spectacular and famous itinerary, not only from the Amalfitan Coast.

Description

With good reasons the local population have rhetorically baptized this path "God's Valley"; walking along the coast at the feet of the Mount S. Angel "A Tre Pizzi", this pathway gives the opportunity to admire one of the most spectacular panorama in the world, the view of the entire Amalfi Coast's western appendix, from Praiano to Capri.
Along the crossing, participants will contemplate all the characteristic traits of the Mediterranean vegetation, from the flora with its herbs and the traditional cuisine's aromas, to the fauna, characterized by the presence of foxes, weasels, and hedgehogs, and a great variety of birds: jays, cuckoos, imperial crows, kestrels, buzzards and even the peregrine falcon. The adventure will include legends and historical anecdotes, mythical caves, enchanted villages, such as Nocelle and Monterpertuso, up to date privileged destination for those who love peacefulness. We will cross the latter, a legendary location, which featured the famous battle between Holy Mary and the Evil. We shall finish with a brief visit in Positano’s center.

Departure at about 8 o’clock a.m. from Amalfi (in order to get the SITA bus) or at 9 o’clock from Agerola, district of Bomerano.
Arrival at Positano.
